Final weekend to view this amazing exhibition!
Alastair Taylor won the runner-up prize in the inaugural Collie Art Prize in 2018 for his piece, Synchronymity. As part of his prize, he was asked to hold a solo exhibition of his works. In an attempt to make the show relevant to the people of Collie, Alastair decided to paint the portrait of as many locals as he could. The exhibition is the result of his meeting and photographing a satisfying cross-section of the population, ranging from 7 to 90+ and hearing some fascinating stories. Alastair managed to paint 55 people, representing roughly 0.76% of the population, hence the exhibition title.
