Collie artists and craftspeople take inspiration from the surrounding forests and bushland, with their work showing their passion for the local landscape.
Crafts can be purchased from several outlets in town including the Collie Visitor Centre on Throssell Street, at the western entrance of town.
Visitors are always welcome to watch the artisans at work at the heritage listed Old Collie Police Station or at the Band Hall where the woodturners group produce wonderful pieces from local timbers.

The gallery offers a diverse range of workshops and development programs suitable for artists at all levels, from primary-school-aged children right through to seniors, absolute beginners to experienced artists. Collie Art Group
The Collie Art Group operates out of the Old Collie Police Station with groups meeting to create patchwork, quilting, pottery, knitting, crochet work and drawing. Members welcome. Items available for sale.
Old Railway Station
The original station was demolished in the 1970’s and was rebuilt and opened in 2004 by the Collie Railway Station Group. Collie Woodturner’s Group
Visitors are welcome to watch the wood turners make fine pieces from local timbers, or to purchase timber crafts. New members are always welcome. Some of the beautiful wood turned pieces are on sale at the Collie Visitor Centre and at the Woodturner’s Club House.
